Voice transmission over local area network using bluetooth

Abstract

Bluetooth is a low cost, low power; short-range radio technology intended to transfer data between cell phones, PDAs and other portable devices. Bluetooth is also used as a medium for voice communication between cell phones. This paper aim is to develop an application that allows a user to make use of mobile phones enabled with Bluetooth and PC's connected over Local Area Network (LAN) in order to communicate with other user who is out of Bluetooth's range. ©2009 IEEE.
