IoT based fire alarm system using Blynk app

Abstract

Fire alarm systems are vital because they alert residents before their homes are totally damaged. Nowadays, bedrooms are thought to be the starting point for 7% of all house fires. Injuries or even death might befall all stuffed animals as a result. Internet of Things (IoT) technology offers a potential solution to reduce such dangers. Perhaps this will make fires less likely or at least less destructive. The best option here would be an IoT fire detector built on the NodeMCU platform. This device incorporates a fire indication in a practical and effective way by connecting a smoke detector and buzzer to the NodeMCU. The smoke detector will detect inhalation of smoke from combustion or other sources. When it is connected to a buzzer, it will make an alarm noise. A fire alarm may be used by any home; all it takes is a little bit of smoke from a candle, fire lamp, or even a cigarette flame to set it off. The smoke detector will deactivate when the room temperature reaches a safe level and the amount of smoke begins to decrease. When the NodeMCU smoke or fire detector senses smoke or fire, it immediately alerts the administrator or user using the Blynk app, making it an excellent fire detector. The user gets alerted via their smartphone in the event of a fire. © 2024 Author(s).
