| Abstract |
Healthcare is increasingly reliant on digital technologies, yet many platforms still feel fragmented from a patient's point of view. Symptom checkers, mental health apps, document vaults and imaging tools are often offered as separate services, forcing users and clinicians to stitch together their own workflows. DocuMed is a fully implemented AI-powered healthcare web application that tries to put everything in one place. By integrating symptom guidance, first-aid support, mental health tracking, emergency response, medical document management and imaging analysis into a single platform, DocuMed aims to support both everyday self-care and clinical decision-making. This paper describes the system architecture, technology stack, datasets, model design and training strategy, and reports implementation experiences from a human-centric perspective, including practical choices made to handle dataset bias, interoperability and real-time performance. |
